As per direction of the Election commission of India the State Excise Organization is conducting raids to curb illicit liquor selling, manufacturing and transportation on daily basis. As per report, the Excise Organization seized 2650.40 litres of illicit liquor on 04-02-2023 throughout the State which value stands to Rs.6,13,975/-.
After date of announcement of poll i.e. on 18-01-2023 upto 04-02-2023, the State Excise Organization seized total 28457.813 litres of illicit liquor which value stands to total Rs.70,33,948/- and total cases registered 39 nos and total13 nos. persons arrested.
