As per direction of the Election commission of India the State Excise Organization is conducting raids to curb illicit liquor selling, manufacturing and transportation on daily basis. As per report, the Excise Organization seized 2032.165 litres of illicit liquor on 31st January 2023 throughout the State which value stands to Rs.5,12,617/-.
After date of announcement of poll i.e. on 18-01-2023 upto 31-01-2023, the State Excise Organization seized total 9825.813 litres of illicit liquor which value stands to total Rs.22,26,968/-and total cases registered 30 nos and total11nos. persons arrested.
