Agartala, Tripura, 25th of August, 2024 : On 24th August, 2024 on specific from sister agency regarding presence of 02 Indian Touts in Indian Village Belabor located very close to border fence under PS Amtali, West Tripura,a joint operation of BSF and GRP conducted at night . Joint operation party detained 02 Indian touts from their houses. Both the apprehended touts are believed to be actively involved in facilitating illegal migration and human trafficking through Tripura with the active assistance of tout modules spread across Indo-Bangladesh border.
BSF with the active assistance and coordination has intensified operations against the touts involved in facilitating illegal migration and other trans border crimes.
