Ampi, Tripura, 17th of May 2025 : In recollection of Lt. Tarani Kalai & Chikon Rai Debbarma a one month long cricket tournament series has been organized here in Twichen Para playground in Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura. Aiming to generate motivation over games and sports amidst local youngsters of the area Twichen Para sports committee has conducted this youths inspiring cricket tournament series. As per the sports committee reports, total 16 teams have participated this cricket tournament series and 25 matches have been played. To divert young generation from drugs and other wrong direction the Twichen sports committee is always in promptness to create consciousness amidst youngsters over sports, sound mind and body.
As per the sports committee, the series had been initiated from 16th of April 2025 and ended it today through this final match played between Ampi Agriculture team Vs. The Royal Super King and the championship credit was obtained by Ampi Agriculture team and The Royal Super King was runner up. The sports committee president Malarai Debbarma and secretary Priyadhan Kalai have jointly handed over the championship trophy and cash money Rs. 27000 to the Agriculture team captain and Rs.12000 and runner up trophy to The Royal Super King team. The whole series was youths motivational and exciting where a large number of local villagers have enjoyed the matches and appreciated the Twichen Para sports committee for their good youths inspiring initiative.
