TBSE : Madhyamik & H.S Examination 2026 Results Declared. Pass Percentage Of Madhyamik 84.18 & H.S 79.33.

Agartala, Tripura, 9th May, 2026 : Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) was announced Madhyamik, Higher Secondary, Madrasa Alim and Madrasa Fazil Examination 2025 Results on Friday (8th May, 2025) 12 noon at the board office by TBSE President Dr. Dhananajoy Gan Chowdhury.

This year, TBSE conducted the TBSE Madhyamik Examination 2026 from February 26 to March 24 and the TBSE Higher Secondary (H.S +2) Examination 2026 from February 25 to March 30.

In the press conference, the president of the TBSE Dr. Dhananajoy Gan Chowdhury said that the Passing rate this year in Madhyamik is 84.18 %. The Passing rate this year in Higher Secondary is 79.33%.

The evaluation of answer scripts started on April 6 and was completed on April 27.

He informed that a total of 32,184 students appeared for the Madhyamik examination this year, out of which 27,094 students passed, registering a pass percentage of 84.18 percent. In the Higher Secondary examination, a total of 26,502 students appeared, of whom 21,024 students passed, with an overall pass percentage of 79.33 percent.

Among the subdivisions, the highest pass percentage in the Madhyamik examination was recorded in Karbook Subdivision with 97.91 percent, Jampuijala Subdivision with 97.48 percent and Udaipur Subdivision with 91.61 percent. On the other hand, the lowest pass percentage was recorded in Gandacherra Subdivision at 68.81 percent.

This year, a total of 271 schools achieved a 100 percent pass rate in the Madhyamik examination.

In the Madrasa Alim examination, which is equivalent to the Madhyamik level, a total of 141 candidates appeared, of whom 128 passed, recording a pass percentage of 90.56 percent.

Similarly, in the Madrasa Fazil examination, equivalent to the Higher Secondary level, a total of 84 candidates appeared, and 79 of them passed, registering a pass percentage of 94.04 percent.

In terms of Higher Secondary examination results, Jampuijala Subdivision emerged as the best-performing subdivision with a pass percentage of 96.16 percent. Belonia Subdivision recorded a pass percentage of 90.19 percent, while Kanchanpur Subdivision registered 90.05 percent. The lowest pass percentage was recorded in Gonda Twisa Subdivision at 56.85 percent.

This year, 62 schools achieved a 100 percent pass rate in the Higher Secondary examination.

Addressing at the press conference, Dr. Joydeep Bhattacharya stated that the merit list was not published immediately this year. He said the top ten merit list would be released later after the completion of the review process and the publication of the “Bachar Bachao” examination results.

He also informed that students would be able to collect their mark sheets from their respective schools within the next seven to eight days. Candidates willing to apply for a review of their results have been asked to submit their applications within the next seven days, while schools have been requested to forward the applications to the board office within ten days.

President of the TBSE, Dr. Dhananajoy Gan Chowdhury thanked the teachers engaged in evaluating the answer sheets of all the exams this year. He also thanked the security forces for maintaining peace and order during the examination at all levels of personnel involved in the examination work in the press conference.
