New Delhi, Delhi, 26th of September, 2026 : The Global GCC Summit 2026, organised by Inductus Group at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, brought together more than 300 C-suite leaders, 100+ GCC decision-makers and 30+ distinguished speakers to examine how India can strengthen its position as a strategic destination for global corporations. The second edition was centred on the theme “Architecting India’s Sunrise Era & the Epicentre of the $980B GCC Economy.”
The Summit brought together leaders from Fortune 500 companies, GCCs, government, trade bodies, consulates, policy makers, investment promotion agencies, academia and professional services. The session featured Alouk Kumar, CEO & Managing Director, Inductus Group; Sangeeta Gupta, Senior Vice President, NASSCOM; Dr Kishore Jayaraman, OBE, Group CEO, UK India Business Council & Former President, Rolls Royce, Mr Mayank Sharma (Google, USA), Ms. Jaya Choraria, Deputy Trade Commissioner, British High Commission, along with a number of Global GCC & IT leaders.
Business-focused discussions examined India’s role in the global operating strategies of corporations across the USA, UK, Japan and EU. The sessions explored India’s technology and talent strengths, R&D capabilities, investment opportunities and the evolving role of GCCs beyond traditional service delivery.
The USA session, focused on the emergence of India as a strategic AI, R&D and technology hub, product, and process innovation centre for American corporations. The UK dialogue examined opportunities and challenges for UK corporations leveraging India’s technology and talent ecosystem, while the Japan and EU sessions addressed innovation-led R&D, digital capabilities and global corporate growth.

India currently hosts around 2,100 GCCs employing nearly 2.4 million professionals, with the sector contributing approximately USD 98.5 billion in economic value. Inductus Research projects this value to reach USD 980 billion by 2040 and alongside the creation of approximately 8 million high-end jobs.
The Summit also marked the launch of a research book “Irresistible India: A GCC Industry Compendium” and the Irresistible India Awards, bringing further focus to India’s expanding GCC ecosystem and its contribution to the country’s technology and services sectors.
Through its cross-border business dialogues and participation from government and industry, the Global GCC Summit 2026 created a platform for stakeholders to discuss the strategic, operational and investment dimensions of India’s GCC opportunity and the evolving role of India in global corporate value chains.
