TIPRA Motha Party Activists Extended Support To The Families Affected By The Fire.

Teliamura, Tripura, 10th of September, 2025 : Mangati Debbarma, a resident of 36 miles of Haludia ADC Village under Krishnapur Assembly constituency and Mungiakami Block, was burnt to ashes in a fire on August 11. On that day, the party had assured her family of its support. As per that promise, a house made was built for the family to live in. Mangati Debbarma lived alone in this house after the death of her husband Sutragan Debbarma. She returned home in the afternoon, she found her only house and furniture completely burnt to ashes. Mangati Debbarma was left without any help.

Upon hearing of the incident, TIPRA Motha Party Mungiakami Block President Mahendra Debbarma, Village Council Chairman Budhrai Debbarma and others rushed to the spot. They stood by the affected woman and extended a helping hand.

At that time, clothes, food items and cash were also handed over to the woman by the TIPRA Motha Party and Thansa Committee of 29 Krishnapur Assembly Constituency. On Wednesday, 11 Maharani TIPRA Motha Block President Mahendra Debbarma, TWF General Secretary Geeta Debbarma and others were present at Mangati’s house and assured her of meeting the sub-division administration and block administration to provide her with a government house in the coming days and providing necessary cooperation.
