This evolving horological language lays the foundation of Titan Automatics, the latest collection of mechanical timepieces driven by the Vetra 7A series- another step forward on the brand’s journey into the world of modern horology.
Vetra finds its identity in the harmonic blend of Veda which represents the Indian understanding of time as an abundant, eternally renewing cycle and Tra, an instrument that channels force into tangible form. Together, Vetra embodies Titan’s philosophy of elegant ingenuity anchored in solving the most demanding challenges with clarity, precision and purpose, bringing artistry and mechanics into a single, cohesive whole. The new movement capability comes to life through four distinct edits, each expressed differently across the new Titan Automatics collection. The Vetra 7A series demonstrates the ingenuity of a versatile movement architecture, enabling multiple mechanical functions to emerge from a core unified platform. The interpretations include Infinium, Dualis, Midnite and Atrium that are allbuilt with 316L surgical grade stainless steel, encased with a domed sapphire crystal with a 3-layer anti-reflective coating. These timepieces flaunt modern case profile with shaped crown guards and a combination of vertical satin & polished surfaces. The X1 grade Swiss SuperLuminova in the watches elevates time telling in the night.
Infinium: Driven by Vetra Calibre 7A20+, Infinium delivers an extended 72-hour power reserve enabled by an optimised barrel and mainspring architecture, offering 3 days of running time when fully wound, serving as a key proof point of Titan’s movement engineering capability. Housed in a 40 mm case with meticulously crafted 3D pressed lacquer dial that lends depth while sharply faceted, diamond cut hands brings precision and clarity.
Dualis: Framed in a 42 mm case, Dualis is driven by 7A37 Vetra calibre with a GMT hand and internal rotating 24-hour bezel. A dual time complication engineered for seamless local-time adjustment while preserving the movement’s uninterrupted rhythm, is the perfect companion for those who command multiple time zones.
Midnite: Harnessing the power of Vetra 7A77 calibre to deliver a crisp change of its dual disc big date display, midnite is complemented by a rich vertical pattern dial complete with faceted hands placed in a 42 mm case and crafted as a quintessential dress watch.
Atrium: Housed in a 42 mm case, Atrium features an offset seconds sub-dial with a knurled bezel adding to the dress look and dual finish bracelet which brings texture and depth while classic roman numbers sit poised atop a sandblasted dial. Driven by the Vetra in-house calibre 7A200-C, it is available in concealed and open-heart variants.
This interplay between what is engineered within and what is expressed externally deepens the brand’s capabilities in horological excellence. Each and every Vetra movement is hand assembled and individually tested to meet global standards of NF S 81-513 and ISO 22810
