TMP Distributed GCI Sheets To 53 Flood Victim Families.

Ampi, Tripura, 21st of July 2025 : With the initiative of Ampi block TMP GCI tin and filters have been provided to poor indigenous families here in Ampi Nagar 41 constituency today. GCI sheets were provided to Kamlai villagers under South Songang VC & filters have been given to villagers of Gamaicherra VC under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura. In two separate distribution programmes a large number of poor indigenous villagers have assembled here in Ampi Zonal office and Gamaku High School ground to avail GCI tin sheets and filters.

As per the report, 23 Ampi Nagar constituency MDC Sadagar Kalai along with Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathanlal Jamatia unitedly have handed over GCI tin sheets to 53 flood affected families of Kamlai village in the premises of Ampi zonal office. On the other hand MDC Sadagar Kalai has distributed filters to 180 needy families in Gamaicherra VC. 

Addressing the gathering MDC Sadagar Kalai has said, “TMP is a indigenous favoured dedicated regional political party which is struggling hard for the betterment for the people of TTAADC. We reach to the farthest corner of the state where our indigenous people are in terrible deprivation and depression. To decelerate their existing miserable plight of the communities our warriors are in great promptness to extend their helping hands towards victim families. We provided better quality of GCI tin sheets to those families who had been affected by the enormous previous flood. In the same way we have provided filters to those deprived indigenous families who are suffering much for the pure drinking water in remote hamlets. The fundamental goal of the TMP is to serve needy and helpless inhabitants in TTAADC.”

After availing costly GCI tin sheets for constructing one single house provided by Bubagra as well as filters from the MDC fund villagers were found very much cheerful and thanked the TMP leaders for their generous contribution. Amidst the other TMP leaders there were Deb Sadhan Jamatia, social activist, Kaliza Jamatia, TWF president, Gakul Nanda Jamatia, Ampi sub zonal chairman and many others remained present in the programmes.
