Amarpur, Tripura, 4th of July 2026 : With the initiative of Ampi Nagar Motha organization 48th of birth anniversary (Thansa Day) event 2026 has been celebratd here in Ampi Nagar community hall in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of TMP leaders, workers and supporters have assembled here in the program venue and took participation in the event.
In presence of Ampi 23 constituency MDC Kamal Kalai MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia has inaugurated the event. The present dignitaries have cut cakes and shared each other with gladness. Sweets have been distributed amidst all attendees.
Addressing the gathering MDC Kamal Kalai said, “Today is the 48th birth anniversary which is known as Thansa Day of our beloved Bubagra who is our only saviour and path finder. On this auspicious occasion I pray long peaceful life for him. He is toiling more and more for the welfare of the communities living in TTAADC. We are fully hopeful and dependant over our Bubagra who will provide us our constitutional rights and better future. We are highly grateful to him.”
On this birth anniversary occasion TMP leaders have conducted a plantation drive program. Various kinds of saplings have been planted in the premises of Ampi Nagar zonal office.
Amidst the other participants there were Sanjay Jamatia, Ampi block TMP president, Debarshi Jamatia, YTF president, Subal Das, TCF president, Deb Sadhan Jamatia, organizing secretary, Vinkar Chakraborty, social activist and many others remained present in the event.
