Agartala, 8th of June, 2024 : Suranjali Cultural Troup social organization is the most prominent organization in Tripura. Suranjali Cultural Troup conducts social work and cultural events at various times across the state. They have been doing this for long 17 years.
With the initiative of Suranjali Cultural Troup social and cultural organization a tree plantation was organised as a part of World Environment Day at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar High School on Saturday (8th June, 2024). At around 9:30 am, an organization the Suranjali Cultural Troup social and cultural organization members planted trees.
The aim of the plantation drive was to create a positive impact on the environment, promote sustainable practices and protecting the nature for present and future generations. In this special drive, the prominent Suranjali Cultural Troup social and cultural organization have planted more than 100 saplings on this single day, which included numerous types of fruit bearing, ornamental as well as forest grown saplings.
Retired Associate Professor at Department of Higher Education Government of Tripura and Social Activist Prattush Ranjan Deb, Councillor of 34 no Ward Jahnabi Das Chowdhury, President of Suranjali Cultural Troup Siddhartha Sankar Roy, Join President of Suranjali Cultural Troup Siddhartha Benarjee, Secretary of Suranjali Cultural Troup, Rasmi Das, Assistant Secretary of Suranjali Cultural Troup Argha Kusum Roy, many other members of Suranjali Cultural Troup and dignitaries were present in the event.
