Khowai, 31st of March, 2024 : With the initiative of the Tripura Pradesh Congress Khowai Committee staged a protest in front congress Bhavan, Khowai on Sunday (31st March, 2024). Tripura Pradesh Congress activists protested against the freezing of the party’s bank accounts by the Income Tax Department and a move they blamed on the ruling central government. Tripura Pradesh Congress activists also protested against the financial penalty of Rs. 3597 crore.
District Committee President Pradyut Bhattacharya, Youth Congress president Tinku Modak, block president Jatindra Gope, general secretary Pradyut Biswas, district secretary Nikhil Chakraborty and other leaders of Congress parties were present in the rally .
