With the initiative of Tripura sector CRPF a week long deputy SP (probationer’s) training has been started in different CRPF battalion camps. This CRPF attachment training of deputy SP (Probationer’s) of Tripura Police started on 12th July, 2022. The one week training programme will cover various facets of CRPF functioning. Ravideep Singh Sahi, Inspector General, Tripura Sector, CRPF briefed ten (10) probationers Dy. SPs about the role and functioning of CRPF. During the inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of justice in maintaining peace and harmony amidst the communities and the critical role of police in justice delivery. He hoped that attachment training would help in better understanding of CRPF and strengthen coordination between state police and CRPF. Vijay Kumar, DIG (Adm), R. Duidang, DIG (Prov. & Accts) and B.B. Sethi, DIG Range were also present in the programme and delivered their valuable speeches.
