Tripura’s Little Chess Master Aaradhya Das Won Bronze At 12th National Schools Chess Championship 2024.

Bihar, 10th of February 2024 : With the initiative All Bihar Chess Association 12th edition of National Schools Chess Championship 2024 was held on 6th February to 10th February, 2024 at Patna, Bihar. 11 players from Tripura including Aaradhya Das participated in the Tournament.

The tournament is organized by All Bihar Chess Association in association with Bihar State Sports Authority.  School student’s Under-7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 participated in Open and Girls event.

The Little Chess master Aaradhya Das D/O- Anuj Kumar Das, resident of Shibnagar, Agartala, Tripura had won bronze, certificate and cash prize in 11 category at 12th edition of National Schools Chess Championship 2024. Aaradhya Das is a student of Sri Krishna Mission School, Agartala.

Aaradhya  played a total of 9 rounds.  She won 7 and lost 2. She played against Pratiti Bordoloi of Karnataka, Pal Vedika of Maharashtra and Puja Shree of Tamil Nadu. She fought against Puja Shree whose rating is 1529 and won the round and bagged bronze for her State. Her rating points are 1431.

Aaradhya will represent India in Asian School Chess Championship 2024 that will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, informed this information her father Anuj Kumar Das.
