Ampi, Tripura, 21st of March, 2025 : 21st of March 2025. On demand of Roman Scripts implementation for indigenous students the TSF organization has staged road blockade on Teliamura-Amarpur road here in Tuidu and Chechua village under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of indigenous students, parents and regional indigenous olitical party leaders have associated with the TSF organization. The TSF union has gained support from different indigenous organisations to sustain the struggle for their fundamental demand of Roman scripts implementation instead of Bengali language academic sessions as well as in board examinations.
TMP & IPFT etc political parties have stretched their hands to co-operate the TSF union. As per the report, until they do not get perfect confirmation over their demand they will continue their struggle and never remove the the road blockade. The DCM Hira Manik Tripura has visited both the blockade points Chechua and Tuidu to withdraw the road obstacle but his effort did not bring positive outcome. The excited students union remained till night. Later on they have left the blockade but they can sit tomorrow again, said a TMP local leader.
