Khowai, 1st of June, 2024 : Two fraudsters were arrested by the locals. The incident took place in North Ramchandraghat area under Khowai District on Saturday (1st June, 2024). According to the details of the incident, two persons from the Murshidabad area of Kolkata have been deceiving the public in different areas of the state by using coupons during the sale of sarees for the last two to three months. Today, in Laltila Colony of North Ramchandraghat area, an old woman was tricked and tried to escape with Rs. 14,000. At that time the locals arrested them and handed them over to the Khowai police station. A sensation has been created in the area around this incident.
