Amarpur, Tripura, 18th of November 2024 : With the initiative of Ompi agri. subdivision four wheeler and agri. machineries have been distributed to FPC beneficiaries under the scheme of MOVCD-NER phase 3 here in Ampi sector office premises in Gomati Tripura today.
Aiming to produce organic agricultural production using advanced technology the department of agriculture & farmer welfare has taken this special initiative to accelerate the income of the local farmers. To promote agriculture sector more efficient different kinds of machines have been distributed like as power tiller 2 nos, paddy thresher 2 nos, power weeder 1 nos, pump set 1 nos, sprayer 6 nos, battery operator sprayer 4 nos and a Bolero Maxx Pickup. The concerned agriculture authority has conducted special training event too to create convenient awareness amidst the local cultivators and taught them over the application techniques of these distributed agricultural machines. A large number of farmers from different VCs have taken participation in the programme and availed training tips through this programme.
On this occasion Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathanlal Jamatia, Ampi BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, Deputy director Mr. Krishnadhan Saha, Ampi SA Nibash Debbarma and many other dignitaries were remained present in the programme.
