The victim families have no alternative way to come out from their homes. Seven families have been confined at their homes and appealing the concerned authority to keep their family footpath open. Very high tension has been prevailed amidst the inhabitants.

One of the victim families namely Jhutan Shill has said, “We are using this footpath for last many years for our regular movement but suddenly the CHC authority has constructed boundary wall without managing alternative way for us. We are here permanent inhabitants but the only way for our movement has been blocked. Now all these families are in great distress. We need a proper way for our daily movement. Now it is a biggest challenge for old citizens, school students and emergency cases. We have appealed to the concerned authority to dispose a suitable path for our these families or to keep the previous lane for our livelihood.” He more added that there are many footpaths exist through different kinds of government establishments in Tripura but the family way of us suddenly has been blocked without managing an alternative way. Now we are all in despair. There is no land at all here in this family house contesting place to open a new way for these confined families. If the health department does not consider the boundless suffering of these victim families then it would be very inhumanity. The departmental officials must visit the plight of these families and take an immediate step to solve this footpath issue, demanded the victim families.
