Ampi, Tripura, 31st of May 2025 : Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan, which is a nationwide campaign has been conducted here in Chechua community hall under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura today. By the courtesy of Ompi agriculture subdivision the abhiyan has been initiated in different VCs under Ampi Nagar block.
On this occasion a large number of local farmers have assembled here in the event venue in Chechua community hall today and took active participation in the programme. The farmer participants were provided good tips over modern and scientific farming methods by the resource persons of the programme. As per the report, the campaign aims to educate farmers about modern technologies for major kharif crops specific to different reasons, establish direct communication between policymakers, scientists and farmers, strive to build a sustainable and self-reliant farming ecosystem, contributing significantly to the goal of Viksit-Bharat 2047, raise awareness about beneficial government schemes and policies, guide farmers on using Soil Health Cards for crop selection and balanced fertilizer application, collect feedback to understand the need of the farmers, and to design demand driven research.”
Amidst the present dignitaries there were deputy director of agriculture, Gomati district, Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia, Ampi BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, social activist Deb Sadhan Jamatia and Ompi agriculture subdivision officials remained present in the programme.
