Villagers Sighed Of Relief From Road Woes.

Amarpur, Tripura, 30th of April 2025 : After a prolonged struggle of indigenous villages of Bhakta Mohan Para, Chankhala, Haripur, Twisakafur, Chankhala Molsom Para and other adjacent areas have sighed of relief from constant road woes. Under the supervision and management of Er. Swaraj Barman, AE of Ampi nagar PWD the road from AT road to Dolachara village 4.3 km distance implemented by the agency Sanjib Prasad and Ampi nagar to Bhakta Mohan Para via Chankhala 6.6 km distance carpeting implementation has been accomplished by the agency Tapan Chakraborty recently has appeared a good achievement for the locals. Both the roads have appeared as boon for villagers. After a long struggle of indigenous people of the areas have availed their desired consequence at last. Sources said that due to worst state of these two roads local indigenous villagers were in great sufferings throughout years; specially during monsoon period people have been facing acute disadvantageous situation for their daily movement.

A section of local villagers have said, “We have been screaming much for these two roads for last many years. Both the roads were in critical condition and we were facing very inconvenient for movement for decades; specially in emergency cases these road were like a curse for us. Potholes, Uneven, heaps of mud, side collapsed etc were the main features of these roads. Now we have a smooth and better comfortable communication facility for both vehicle and pedestrians. For emergency cases like woman delivery or critical patient carrying we have no terror for vehicle. Both the roads have appeared as new and it is the best achievement of the local villagers.” To avail new road indigenous communities of the locality were found cheerful.
