Agartala, Tripura, 18th of January, 2026 : With The Initiative of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School organized the third edition of the volleyball tournament at Don Bosco School campus, Mandwi on Sunday (18th January, 2026).
A volleyball tournament is being organized by Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, with the aim of keeping the youth away from the menace of drug abuse. The tournament has been held at the Don Bosco School campus since 2024. This year marks the third edition of the tournament. In this third edition, a total of 16 teams are participating, with a large number of players from within the State as well as from outside the state taking part.
The organizers believe that this tournament will help free the youth from the grip of addiction. The players from various participating teams also feel that in order to protect the younger generation from the dangers of substance abuse, more such tournaments should be organized. They believe that events like this create awareness among the youth in many ways and prepare them physically and mentally to move forward towards a brighter goal in life.
