Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Conducted By Art of Living.

Agartala, Tripura, 11th of May, 2025 : With the initiative of Art of Living organization, Tripura Apex Body conducted Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Agartala, Tripura on Sunday (11th May, 2025) to commemorate the 69th birthday of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp by lighting the lamp.

Addressing at Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji‘s philosophy of developing human values through spiritual consciousness has attracted the minds of people. People are getting to know their true nature and identity and are dedicating themselves to the welfare of humanity. The Chief Minister said, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is the guide to freedom from the increasing violence and conflict and mental stress in personal and social life all over the world. His philosophy is very relevant today. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji’s philosophy and thoughts should be spread among the people. The society will benefit from it. The way of proper habits and meditation that he has shown to keep mental stress free and lead a healthy life is very important in the present time. This habit needs to be developed from a young age. The Chief Minister laid emphasis on developing such habits, especially in building a drug-free society.

At the event, the Chief Minister expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Art of Living authorities for organizing the blood donation camp. He said that such an initiative will encourage other organizations to come forward for blood donation. The Chief Minister mentioned in detail the various social programmes including education of the Art of Living in the State.

Sumit Dasgupta Apex Body Member of Art of Living organization delivered the welcome address at the event. Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Managing Committee Member Anindita Roy Barman, Tripura Research Coordinator Triveni Debbarma and many other dignitaries were present in the event.
