Teliamura, 9th February 2025 : The primitive indigenous inhabitants Giri community is the worst victim for drinking water here in Krishnapur assembly constituency under Teliamura Subdivision. A large number of tribal areas where the common Giri’s community people suffer from severe water shortage almost every time of the year. One of these areas is Bilaihum in Nonachhara A.D.C Village.
As per the report, this mountainous village which is situated on high mountains area is suffering too much for water crisis in last many decades. This communal people are always been ignored by the administration. There are some water supply points to solve the drinking water problem of the hill in this area, but even that is not sufficient. Although there is a system of providing water in some areas in the car era, it is not regular. As a result, some are forced to depend on water from streams, some on stored water, and some on water extracted from rocks.
Allegedly, the State Government has spent crores of rupees but it has not reached the Krishnapur Assembly constituency properly. Villagers demand the creation of this government water source in Krishnapur Assembly constituency needs to be done urgently. It can be heard in the area that the common people of the entire Krishnapur Assembly constituency are being deprived of almost all kinds of opportunities and surveillance by the government. The people of the area are suffering from severe water shortage, those who voted with both hands to make Krishnapur Assembly MLA and Minister are forgotten today. As a result, standing in this place, the anger of the common people against minister is accumulating almost every moment.
