Kolkata, 27th of July, 2024 : Mr. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury (Born 2 April 1956) is an Indian Politician who served as the leader of the Indian National Congress in the 17th Lok Sabha from 2019 to 2024 and the Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Berharmpore (Murshidabad district, West Bengal) from 1999 to 2024.
According to reliable sources, West Bengal Congress Leader Mr. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, former Member of the Lok Sabha is likely to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) within a short period. So far as known Mr. Chowdhury may be elected as the member of Rajya Sabha by the legislature of the state of Tripura.
