If a woman had conceived earlier but due to some reason she had a miscarriage and now she is facing problems in having a second child, then it will also be called secondary infertility.
Why does secondary infertility occur?
Many times while planning for a second child, your age increases, due to which fertility starts decreasing and then it becomes difficult to conceive.
If you have had any kind of infection or ectopic pregnancy in the past, then there is a possibility that your reproductive organs may have been damaged due to the infection and now you have become a victim of secondary infertility.
One of the major reasons for infertility can also be your lifestyle, people who are not physically very active or are consuming fast food, junk food instead of nutritious food may have the problem of secondary infertility.

Dr. Chanchal Sharma tells that most of the patients coming to her feel that if they have a child easily once, then why will there be a problem the second time. According to people, primary infertility is the most important in which treatment is required. Therefore, people often ignore secondary infertility, while it is emerging as a big problem.
How to prevent secondary infertility?
If a couple has had their first child very easily but is facing problems in the second, then after trying for a year, they should immediately contact a gynecologist. Keep getting your health checked from time to time. The treatment of secondary infertility depends on its causes, so only the health care provider can tell you the appropriate treatment after looking at your reports. But do not panic in such a situation because treatment for infertility is available in Ayurveda, that too without any surgery.
