Mumbai, Maharashtra, 16th of April 2026 : The Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 once again proved it is more than a race—it is a movement driven by purpose and collective spirit. Celebrating its landmark 21st edition at “An Evening of Gratitude,” the event highlighted not just achievements, but the power of unity that binds the city together.

Guided by the spirit of #HarDilMumbai, the marathon reflected how sport can evolve into a platform for social change. With a record ₹60.68 crore raised for charity, participation from hundreds of NGOs, and thousands of committed runners, it showcased the impact of shared intent and compassion. Today, it stands as a powerful example of how individual efforts can translate into meaningful societal transformation.
The seamless collaboration of stakeholders played a crucial role—right from the vigilance of Mumbai Police to the philanthropic leadership of United Way Mumbai and the inclusivity driven by Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation.
“This marathon is a celebration of those driving real change,” said Rahul Narwekar. Echoing the sentiment, Chhagan Bhujbal called it “a symbol of Mumbai’s unity and resilience.” Ultimately, the marathon continues to prove that when a city runs with purpose, it moves beyond the finish line—towards a more inclusive and compassionate future.
