World Red Cross Day Observed At Agartala.

Agartala, Tripura, 7th of May, 2025 : With the initiative of Red Cross Society Tripura State Branch observed World Red Cross Day observed At Agartala, Tripura on Wednesday (7th May, 2025).

Red Cross Society Tripura State Branch has been conducted Mega Blood Donation Camp to marks on  World Red Cross Day. In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu  inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Addressing at the celebration of World Red Cross Day Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu  said that the blood donation is a sign of humanity and a symbol of collective compassion. Every drop of blood is a lifeline, which binds us in the bond of humanity. The Governor called upon the people of the state to come forward to donate blood more and more. The responsibility of every member of the Red Cross Society, including doctors and volunteers, towards the society remains largely hidden from view. He added that Red Cross Mission plays an important role in implementing everything from disaster management to health care initiatives.

Chandan Debnath, Secretary of Red Cross Society Tripura State Branch, delivered the welcome speech at the event. Paramananda Sarkar Banerjee, Vice President, delivered the vote of thanks. In today’s celebration ceremony apart from the Governor of Tripura, many others distinguished dignitaries were present in the ceremony.
