WTITC Appoints Chukka Rahul Reddy As Joint Secretary – International Student Chapter.

Hyderabad, Telangana, 2nd of December, 2025 : The World Telugu Information Technology Council (WTITC) has appointed Mr. Chukka Rahul Reddy as the Joint Secretary – International Student Chapter, following the approval of the WTITC Governing Council. This appointment strengthens WTITC’s mission of building a global ecosystem connecting Telugu students, innovators, and aspiring professionals across continents.

Rahul Reddy is a national-level cricketer and a dynamic student leader known for his contributions to entrepreneurship, innovation, and community engagement. At Woxsen University, he has held several notable leadership positions, including Co-Chairperson for Entrepreneurship Development, Student Head – Trade Tower Incubation & Innovation Centre, Head of Operations – TRY Entrepreneurship, Growth & Strategy Lead – EKAM Empower Chapter, Cohort Lead – Centre of Excellence (Business Development), and an active member of the YANC Networking Club.

In addition to his campus leadership, Rahul has represented Hyderabad at national cricket tournaments under the Cricket Federation of India (CFI) and SSGF India, demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and excellence in both academics and athletics. His strong involvement in early-stage entrepreneurship and student-driven innovation platforms reflects his passion for empowering young founders and transforming student ideas into scalable outcomes.

Speaking on the appointment, WTITC Chairman Sundeep Kumar Makthala said: “Rahul Reddy represents the new generation of global Telugu leadership. His passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and student empowerment makes him an ideal fit to lead our global student community. WTITC is proud to welcome him, and we look forward to seeing him take his oath at the Dubai World Trade Center during WTITC 2025.”

Accepting the position, Rahul Reddy said: “I am honoured to serve as Joint Secretary for the WTITC International Student Chapter. My goal is to connect Telugu students worldwide, help them access global opportunities, and build a strong ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship. The Dubai WTITC platform will open life-changing possibilities for students across the globe.”

WTITC Launches Global Student Innovation Program 2025–26

Aligned with Rahul’s appointment, WTITC announced the Global Student Innovation Program, which will be inaugurated during the World Telugu IT Conference 2025, taking place in Dubai from December 12–14, 2025.

Program Highlights:

·        Dubai Tech Exposure Tour – Visits to Dubai Internet City, accelerators, innovation hubs, and global enterprises.

·        Student Project Showcase at WTITC 2025 – A platform for students to present research, prototypes, and innovations.

·        Global Mentorship – Interaction with technologists, founders, and investors from over 100 countries.

·        6-Month International Internship – Selected students will be offered structured internships in domains such as AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Semiconductors, Blockchain, Robotics, AR/VR, IoT, and Product Development.

·        Certification & Networking – Participants receive international certification and access to global communities.

Rahul Reddy’s appointment and the launch of the Student Innovation Program together represent WTITC’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of Telugu global technologists, founders, and innovators. The official swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Dubai World Trade Center during WTITC 2025.
