124 BN CRPF Organized National Unity Day Celebration 2025 .               

Amarpur, Tripura, 1st of November 2025 : To mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, 124 Bn CRPF has conducted national unity improvement event where battalion soldiers have taken active participation in the programme. The battalion has organized “Run for Unity” to pay homage to the iron man of India under the leadership of Shri. Akhilesh Kumar Singh, Second-In-Command of 124 Bn CRPF. To generate motivation over national unity and patriotism good tips have been provided to the battalion jawans. The run started from HQ/124 Bn, CRPF Salbagan to Oxygen Park, Gandhigram where a large number of officers and personnel participated the event.

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day is observed to regard the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This great patriot was born on 31st of October 1875 AD in Nadiad in Gujarat. Popularly known as the “Unifier of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel contributed to the unification of India’s 565 princely states. National Unity Day is to honor the efforts of this great man. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was active in Indian Independence Day movement and was a part of Constituent Assembly. Since 2014 India has celebrated National Unity Day on 31st of October in every year to commemorate his significant contribution for the nation. Unity pledge was also taken by all the jawans of the battalion.
