13-Year-Old Minor Girl Dies By Suicide In Sabroom, Probe Underway.

Sabroom, Tripura, 8th of September, 2026 :  A heartbreaking incident occurred on Tuesday (8th September, 2026) in Ward No. 8 under Sabroom Nagar Panchayat. A 13-year-old minor girl, identified as D. Sampari Tripura, a Class VII student of PM SHRI Sabroom Girls’ H.S. School, was found dead at her rented residence.

According to reports, Sampari, daughter of SPO jawan Kishore Tripura from the New Rehabilitation Colony of East Ludhua under Sabroom subdivision, had been staying as a tenant at the house of Biswajit Basak in the area. Last night, she reportedly stayed at a friend’s house. In the early hours of the morning, she returned to her rented accommodation, where she allegedly died by suicide.

The tragic incident left the girl’s family and relatives in deep shock and grief. On being informed, personnel from Sabroom Police Station rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. A forensic team is reportedly being called from Belonia to conduct an examination of the scene. The exact circumstances behind the minor’s death are yet to be ascertained.
