Teliamura, 21st of December 2023 : A devastating fire broke out at Exchange Chowmuhani area under Teliamura police station around 12:30 on Wednesday night 3 shops were burnt to ashes. According to the details of the incident, the local residents saw a fire in the shop of Haridhan Pal in Teliamura Exchange Chowmuhani area. The local residents informed the fire service personnel over this occurrence. The fire engines rushed to the spot. By then, three shops were almost engulfed in flames. After receiving the news of the incident, the police of Teliamura police station also rushed to the spot. After long efforts, they managed to bring the fire under control. Due to the fire, three shops including all the goods were burnt to ashes. It is believed that there is a loss worth about 20 lakh rupees. However, the main source of the fire is still not clear, it is assumed that it may have happened due to the electrical short circuit, said the fire service personnel. The truth must come out after proper investigation.
