4 Lakh 15 Thousand Families Of The State Will Be Brought Under CM-JAY.

Agartala, 1st of March 2024 : 4 lakh 15 thousand families of the state will be brought under health insurance under the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana (cm-jay). This is the only scheme through which 100 percent people of the state will benefit. After the inauguration by chief minister Dr. Manik Saha on February 15, about one lakh fifty thousand names have already been enrolled in this scheme. Finance minister Pranajit Singh Roy said this while discussing the of thanks moved by chief whip of Tripura legislative assembly and MLA Kalyani Roy on the first day of the Fourth Session of the Thirteenth Tripura Legislative Assembly today.

The vote of thanks is ‘this expresses its sincere congratulations and gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief minister of the state along with the ministers of the state cabinet in view of the launch of the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana (CM-JAY) in the state for the welfare of the people of the state. The Chief Whip of Tripura legislative Assembly and MLA Kalyani Roy said that the state government has decided to launch this scheme despite the limited financial capacity of the state. Which is a significant step in the history of the State. MLA Dipankar Sen also discussed the vote of thanks. Later the proposal was unanimously accepted in the meeting.
