Agartala, Tripura, 17th of March, 2026 : The State Government has announced a 5% Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees and pensioners, which will come into effect from April 1, 2026.
Chief Minister Manik Saha made the announcement today in the State Legislative Assembly. He stated that the decision will benefit 1,02,563 regular employees, 81,019 pensioners and family pensioners, as well as irregular employees. The Chief Minister further informed that the 5% DA hike will result in an additional annual expenditure of ₹500 crore from the state exchequer.
