6th Day Of NCC Camp At Saheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel.

Agartala, Tripura, 1st of June, 2025 : 4th Day Of NCC Camp camp at Saheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel from 27th to 05th June 2025.

Inter-School drill Competition
The day began with an energetic Inter-School drill Competition. Cadets from various institutions displayed their drill precision, uniformity, and coordination. The competition fostered discipline, teamwork, and healthy rivalry among the young cadets.

Introduction to Infantry Weapons
Cadets were introduced to various infantry weapons used by the Indian Armed Forces. The session included details on weapon types, technical specifications, and safety measures. It aimed at increasing military awareness and familiarity with standard-issue arms.

Communication Class
A special communication class was conducted to train cadets in field communication techniques and radio procedures. Emphasis was laid on the importance of clarity, discipline, and speed in transmitting messages during field operations.

Lecture on Personality Development by ANO Lt. Jekap Halam
ANO Lt. Jekap Halam delivered an inspiring lecture on personality development. He focused on leadership, confidence, discipline, and the importance of character in both military and civilian life. The cadets found the session highly motivating.

EXPA Class
An EXPA (Exercise Planning and Administration) class was conducted to train cadets in planning, organizing, and executing field exercises. The session helped them understand the importance of coordination, resource management, and leadership during outdoor activities.

Motivational Lecture by Ex-Cadet Risha Debbarma
Ex-Cadet Risha Debbarma, who had attended a Mountaineering Camp during her time in NCC, delivered an inspiring motivational lecture. She shared her adventurous experiences, the challenges of high-altitude training, and how NCC shaped her confidence and resilience. Her journey encouraged cadets to take up challenges and explore the full potential of NCC.

Group Song and Dance Competition
In the evening, cadets participated in a colourful group song and dance competition. The performances reflected the rich cultural diversity of the participants and created a joyful and unifying atmosphere in the camp.

Cadets Assist at DM Office During Flood-like Situation-

A few selected cadets were sent to the District Magistrate’s office to assist with preparations for a possible flood-like situation. This real-life engagement instilled a sense of civic duty and highlighted the role of NCC in community service.
