Ampi, Tripura, 9th of March 2025 : Under the able guidance of Shri Vimal Kumar Bisht, IGP Tripura Sector, On 08″ March’2025, 71st Battalion CRPF installed solar street lights in the village of Jagat Chandra Para under Radhapur Panchayat, TTAADC Khumulwng Jirania, as part of the Civic Action Program for 2025-26. The program was organized by Shri Harinder Tyagi Dy. Commandant of 71st Battalion CRPF, in the presence of Bijay Debbarma (Pradhan) and other Panchayat members.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Harinder Tyagi, Dy. Commandant, stated that the newly installed solar street lights will greatly benefit the villagers. He also highlighted that this initiative is part of the CRPF’s on- going effort to serve the people of the country through public-friendly and sensitive policing. Civic action programs like these are being organized to foster better relations with local communities. The efforts of CRPF were widely praised for their positive impact on public welfare, and it was reiterated that such initiatives will continue in the future. Both the general public and local administration expressed their appreciation for the force’s philanthropic work and thanked them for their good job.
