Agartala, Tripura, 23rd of May 2026 : The 7-day Domain Skill Trainer (DST) Certification Programme concluded successfully at TGB RSETI Bisramganj with enthusiastic participation from trainers representing Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, and Nagaland.
A total of 44 Domain Skill Trainers (DSTs) were trained by experienced industry experts from across the country. These certified trainers will further conduct skill development and entrepreneurship training programmes at various Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs), helping rural youth build sustainable livelihood opportunities through self-employment.
Domain Skill Trainers play a vital role in spreading entrepreneurship education and skill development across the states by guiding aspiring entrepreneurs and strengthening the rural entrepreneurial ecosystem.
RSETIs, supported by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) and sponsored by banks, are dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment among rural youth. The institutes offer nearly 70 short-term training courses free of cost to enhance employability, skill development, and income generation in rural areas.
