Development Projects Reviewed at Public Interface Departments’ Coordination Meeting in Dharmanagar.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 5th of June 2026 : A significant coordination meeting involving officials from various public interface government departments was held on Thursday (4th June, 2026) at the conference hall of the Dharmanagar Municipal Council. The meeting focused on ongoing development projects, public welfare services, and future action plans for the region. Present at the meeting were Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty, Municipal Council Chairperson Mitali Das Sen, Vice-Chairperson Manju Nath, along with officials from various public interface departments and other distinguished participants.

MLA Jahar Chakraborty stated that a detailed review was conducted on the current status and progress of various development projects in Dharmanagar, as well as the government services being delivered to the public. Emphasis was also placed on strengthening coordination among departments to ensure faster and more effective delivery of public services.He stressed that administrative authorities and elected representatives must work together to quickly identify and address public grievances.

With this objective in mind, such coordination meetings are being organized on a regular basis.The discussions also covered challenges in project implementation, infrastructure development, expansion of civic services, and ways to make public welfare initiatives more dynamic and effective. Officials from different departments presented updates on their respective activities and offered suggestions to further accelerate the pace of development. At the conclusion of the meeting, a consensus was reached on adopting new initiatives and implementing coordinated programmes aimed at the overall development of Dharmanagar and the welfare of its residents. Participants expressed optimism that this joint effort by the administration and public representatives would further expedite the town’s development.
