13 Tripura Bn NCC Observed IYD 2026.

Agartala, Tripura, 21st of June 2026 : The cadets and Instructional staff of 13 Tripura Battalion NCC (BRAVEHEARTS) commemorated the International Day of Yoga – 2026 with great enthusiasm, discipline, and a collective commitment to holistic well-being. The celebrations were conducted across several iconic and culturally significant locations of Tripura, including Ujjayanta Palace, Albert Ekka Park, Heritage Park, Unakoti, Tripurasundari Temple (Matabari), Neermahal, as well as various educational institutions under the Battalion’s jurisdiction.

The event witnessed the participation of: Officer – 02, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) – 10, Care Taking Officers (CTOs) – 02, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) – 06, Permanent Instructors (PI Staff) – 12 and Cadets – 675.

A major yoga session was organized at Albert Ekka Park as well as Ujjayanta palace Agartala where NCC cadets, along with ANOs and instructional staff, assembled to observe the occasion in a spirit of harmony and self-discipline.

The session was conducted by Yog Guru Mr. Kamalendra, ANO, 13 Tripura Battalion NCC,
and also various Cadet Instructors qaulified at National levels , they cinducted the session in accordance with the Common Yoga Protocol prescribed by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

The programme featured a comprehensive sequence of yoga asanas, pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation practices, aimed at enhancing physical fitness, mental resilience, emotional balance, and overall wellness, highlighting profound role in fostering longevity, vitality, Participants demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, dedication, and discipline throughout the session. The event concluded with a collective pledge to embrace yoga as an integral part of daily life and to spread awareness about its transformative benefits within their communities.

The Commanding Officer Col. NS Baath stated that , The successful celebration of the International Day of Yoga – 2026 stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of 13 Tripura Battalion NCC towards promoting discipline, unity, health, and social responsibility among the youth. The occasion further reinforced the NCC’s enduring role in nation-building by nurturing physically fit, mentally resilient, and socially conscious citizens. The Battalion stand committed to the vision of the “FIT INDIA” and shall nurture futhermore young cadets towards brilliance, success and professional excellence always.
