Amarpur, Tripura, 7th of July 2026 : Targeting to PMAY-G 2.O scheme implementation amidst the beneficiaries in Ampi Nagar VC under Ampi RD block the Ampi panchayat authority has conducted a special Gram Sabha programme here in Ampi Nagar community hall, Amarpur in Gomati Tripura on Tuesday (7th July, 2026).

On this occasion a large number of villagers of the VC, panchayat officials and social activists have assembled here in the event. As per the report, after accomplishment of the recent survey Ampi Nagar panchayat has enlisted 298 poor beneficiaries to provide them PMAY house amenity interior Ampi VC. The panchayat authority has officially declared the enlisted beneficiaries’ name and confirmed it in the programme.
Addressing the gathering MDC Kamal Kalai has said, “Our prime and first priority is to manage proper house for every family in the VC who are poor, needy and nobody is engaged with government employment in the family. We are bound to respond to the voice of the general public. Not only PMAY scheme, we will struggle hard to vanish every obstacle that opposes the development of the VC. It is our fundamental responsibility to stay in touch with general public and take immediate initiative to fulfil the basic requirements of the people living in TTAADC without any kind of communal discrimination.”

Under the able guidance and supervision of Ampi panchayat secretary Mr. Rahul Datta the Special Gram Sabha-G 2.0 has listened the voice of the general public and interacted with them face to face over miscellaneous issues of the villagers. The district panchayat officer Pankaj Datta has delivered his valuable speech over the PMAY-G 2.0 scheme and advised them to be affiliated with the panchayat authority to avail government scheme amenities.
