Mukhyamantri Samipeshu 70th Edition – Weekly Public Interaction Programme Of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

Agartala, Tripura, 15th July, 2026 : Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme the weekly public interaction programme of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The Chief Minister interacted with the common people about their issues and difficulties.

As the part, the Chief Minister’s weekly programme “70th episode of  Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ on Wednesday (15th July, 2025), people of different profession in the State attended the programme. They spoke with the Chief Minister regarding their problems seeking assistance on various aspects such as medical treatment, financial assistant, education etc. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha patiently listened to each of them and directed officials and Secretaries of concerned departments to take the necessary initiatives.

Like other days today also the chief minister, in his official residence, listened to the grievances and complaints of people coming from different corners of the state.

Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha virtually addressed the grievances of 27 people from different parts of North Tripura district during the 70th edition of the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme. The Chief Minister interacted with beneficiaries from the War Room of TIFT, Agartala, while citizens participated from the conference hall of the Kanchanpur Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister reiterated the state government’s commitment to the welfare of all tribal communities, including the Reang community. He directed the District Magistrate of North Tripura and other concerned officials to ensure that the benefits of government welfare and development schemes reach every eligible beneficiary, especially those living in remote areas. He stressed that no deserving person should be deprived of government assistance and said the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme has become an effective platform for directly addressing public grievances.

Highlighting improvements in the healthcare sector, the Chief Minister said the state’s medical infrastructure is being modernised, enabling the delivery of advanced healthcare services within Tripura. He added that referral hospitals across the state would gradually introduce digital medical services to further improve healthcare accessibility. On the occasion, the Chief Minister virtually inaugurated the ‘Yodha’ Portal, developed by the North Tripura District Administration to address social issues such as child marriage, drug abuse, domestic violence and child labour. The portal enables citizens to confidentially report such incidents to the administration. It also provides facilities for drug addicts to seek counselling and medical assistance while protecting their identities. In addition, individuals interested in social service activities, including voluntary blood donation, can register through the portal and participate in various public welfare initiatives. Appreciating the initiative, the Chief Minister said that if the portal proves successful, similar platforms would be introduced in other districts of the state.

During the programme, several residents of North Tripura sought assistance from the Chief Minister for medical treatment, social security benefits and other welfare-related issues. Among them were V. L. Saima, Jabirung Reang, Lachuiti Reang and Hemanta Reang of Pushparampara in Jampui Hills, Archana Nath of Dainchara, Anit Nath of Ram Bahadur Para, Brikharam Reang of Anandasagar Para, Bratakumar Reang of Setu Doar Para, Khumraibati Reang of Basanchandra Para, Arjabati Reang of Lankarai Para and Khumcharabati Reang of Falgunjoy Para, who requested assistance for medical treatment, Divyang pension, widow pension and old-age pension. After hearing their grievances, the Chief Minister directed the District Magistrate and concerned officials to ensure immediate sanction of the eligible benefits. The Chief Minister also heard appeals for medical assistance from C. Lal Mungana Thangpari of Laimonoali Bari in Sabual village, Jampui Hills, Anil Nath of Ram Bhadra Para and Pramila Das of Dakshin Laljuri village, all of whom sought help for the treatment of serious ailments. He instructed the Health Department and concerned officials to make arrangements for their proper medical care.

Besides medical and welfare-related issues, Sushanti Nama of Shibnagar village raised the issue of housing, Dhirendra Nath of Makumchhara village sought alternative employment for his son, while Pashuram Reang of Salkhaham village and Dhirendra Nama of Makumchhara also requested assistance for alternative livelihood opportunities. Kripajoy Reang of Longai village and Bhaktiram Reang of Sakhan Sermun highlighted poor communication and connectivity in their respective areas. Madhabi Reang of Raymani Para sought assistance to continue her education. After interacting with them, the Chief Minister directed the concerned departments and the District Magistrate to take prompt action to resolve their problems.

Chief Minister’s Secretary P. K. Chakraborty, Health Secretary Kiran Gitte, Additional Secretary of the Social Welfare and Social Education Department Tapan Kumar Das, Health Director Dr. Debashree Debbarma, Medical Superintendent of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Hospital Dr. Shiromani Debbarma and senior officials of various departments attended the programme from Agartala. North Tripura District Magistrate Chandani Chandran and district-level officials joined the programme virtually from Kanchanpur.
