Khowai, Tripura, 13th of September, 2026 : The recovery of an unidentified body near the Khowai BJP district office has caused a stir in the Lalsara area under Khowai District. According to local sources, residents spotted the person lying near a bridge in the vicinity and raised an alarm. Following the news, several local residents reached the spot, leading to a gathering of people.
After receiving the information, police later arrived at the spot. According to police and local sources, the deceased was reportedly of a vagrant nature. Local residents claimed that he had been seen roaming around the area for several days.
Police reportedly recovered the body from the spot and sent it to the morgue for post-mortem examination. However, the identity of the deceased remains unknown so far.
