Swachhta Hi Sewa Campaign 2026 By KVK Sepahijala, CAU(I).

Sepahijala, Tripura, 3rd of October, 2026 : Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sepahijala, CAU (I), Tripura successfully organized the Swachhta Hi Sewa Campaign 2026 from 17^th September to 1^st October 2026 with the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat” along with Swachh Bharat Diwas on 2^nd October 2026.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Anupam Mishra, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, CAU, Imphal, with technical support fromDr. A.K. Mohanty, Director, ATARI, Zone-VII, Umiam, Meghalaya, Prof. Ng. Iboyaima Singh, Director of Extension Education, CAU (I), Manipur, andProf. Arun Bhai Patel, Dean, College of Fisheries, CAU (I), Lembucherra, Tripura, with the overall supervision ofDr. Shatabhisa Sarkar, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Sepahijala. The campaign was headed byNungleppam Monica, Subject Matter Specialist (Food Processing Engineering)andPijush Debbarma, Programme Assistant, KVK Sepahijala.

The campaign began with the Swachhata pledge at the KVK Office and included a series of activities to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and community participation. An awareness, quiz and local sports competition were held at Gagan Sardar Para JB school. Cleaning activities were undertaken at various locations including offices, educational institutions, and tourist places. As part of this campaign, safai mitras were also felicitate to honor their contribution for cleaner and healthier environment and concluded with the cleaning of office premises on 2^nd October 2026. The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, SHGs, sanitation workers, office staffs and the community, spreading the message of “Clean India, Green India and Prosperous India” across Sepahijala district.
