Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated Goddess Durga Carnival (Maayer Gaman) at Paradise Chowmuhani, Agartala on Friday (7th October, 2022). A large number of people have participated the colourful procession for immersion of idols with great enthusiasm and excitement. Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon’ble Information & Cultural Affairs, Sports, PWD (DWS) minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, Tripura Pradesh BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee, BJP State General Secretary Papia Datta, Other cabinet ministers and dignitaries were present in the Goddess Durga Carnival programme.
