Agartala, Tripura, 2nd of October, 2026 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has instructed the officials to make the Diwali Festival and Fair in Udaipur more attractive and provide better facilities to the pilgrims. He gave these instructions today during a meeting of Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Trust held at Udaipur circuit house.
The meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Sabhadhipati of Gomati Zila Parishad Debal Debroy, MLA Abhishek Debroy, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Secretary to the CM Kiran Gittee and other department secretaries. The Chief Minister emphasised that all road renovation works have to be completed before the festival. Kalyan Sagar, Amarsagar and surrounding areas should be decorated beautifully. He also stressed on regular supervision of developmental works. He called upon the concerned officials to perform their duties sincerely to make the Diwali Festival and Fair a grand event.
