CITU activists has organized a rally on the occasion of May Day or International Labour Day at Agartala on Monday (1st May, 2023). CPI(M), CPI(M) wing Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) observed May day across the State today. CITU observed May Day through various programmes.

International May Day is observed every year on May 1 to mark the achievements of the workers and to spread awareness about exploitation. International May Day or International Labour day is observed across the Globe.
Former Chief Minister of Tripura, Member of Politburo, Communist Party of India (Marxist) Manik Sarkar, State general secretary of CITU Shankar Prasad Datta, State President of CITU Manik Dey and other CITU leaders were present at the rally.
