Khowai, 9th of February 2024 : The Khowai subdivision police has again achieved great success in its anti-narcotics campaign. Based on special operation Khowai PS officials has arrested 2 Smugglers with heroin on Friday (9th February, 2024). The police were able to arrest a notorious heroin from Subhash Park, GAB Chaumuni area under Khowai District. The police were able to arrest a notorious heroin named Bisnu Debnath (28), S/O- Krishna Debnath resident of Madhya Ganki and Tuphan Debbarma (22), S/O- Lt. Adin Debbarma resident of Kalyanpur. The police were able to recover 290 small container of prohibited heroin, ₹ 1240 and three mobile phones from them.
