Agartala, 9th of February 2024 : With the initiative of Agartala Press Club and Sports Committee One-day Inter Sub Divisional Press Club Cricket Tournament 2024 were organized at Bholagiri Cricket Ground in Agartala on Friday (9th February, 2024). Jayanta Bhattacharjee, President of Agartala Press Club, Ramakanta Dey, Secretary of Agartala Press Club and other journalists were present in the Cricket Tournament today.
Agartala Press Club team won the match. Agartala Press Club team defeat the Bishalgarh Press Club team by 10 wickets in the final match.
In the semi-final Agartala Press Club team defeated Khumulwng Press Club team by 6 wickets to reach the final. In the other semi-final, the Bishalgarh Press Club team defeated the Udaipur Press Club team by 9 wickets and got permission to play in the final.
Bishalgarh Press Club President Bhabatosh Ghosh, Agartala Press Club Joint Secretary Abhishek Dey, Executive Member Abhishek Debbarma, Senior journalist and Tournament Technical Director Suprabhat Debnath handed over the prizes to the winners.
The Inter Sub-Divisional Press Club Cricket Tournament 2024 has been held with great enthusiasm and excitement. Abhishek Dey thanked all concerned and expressed hope that this match will continue in the coming days. Convener of Sports Sub Committee Abhishek Dey informed this information in a statement.
