Agartala, Tripura, 4th of October 2024 : With the initiative of Gramonnayan Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited has been organized ‘Gram Diwas’ at Uttar Brajapur, Bishalgarh under Sepahijala District on Friday (4th October, 2024). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
Addressing at the observance of ‘Gram Diwas’, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma said, to prepare the village development plan, the proposal of the plan comes from the village level. India’s traditions, culture, heritage etc. can be found in villages. It is necessary to organize village day in every village to rise above all differences including politics, love each other, build good relations among each other and organize the society.
Sabhadhipati of Sepahijala District Supriya Das Datta, Member Rajkumar Debnath, SDM Rakesh Chakraborty, BDO Charilam Block Krittika Saha and and many other dignitaries were present in the programme. On the occasion of Gram Diwas felicitated the senior citizens of the village.
