Agartala, Tripura, 1st of June, 2025 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday (1st June, 2025) visited the flood affected areas due to the heavy rainfall over the last two days. The Chief Minister also visits the relief camps of Pratapgarh, Chandrapur, Sri Lanka slum, among others under West Tripura District. The Chief Minister visited the flood affected areas to access the ground situation and oversee the ongoing relief and rescue operations.

Interacted with the media, Chief Minister said that people who have been shifted to shelter homes are being provided with food and clean drinking water.

The Chief Minister assessed the situation on the ground, engaged with affected residents, ensure timely relief and essential support to every impacted household.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha was accompanied by Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder, Hon’ble MP Rajib Bhattacharya, Secretary of Revenue Department Brijesh Pandey and West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar during the inspection.
