The visit was aimed at exploring potential and solutions for CPSE-AMTRON collaborations on digital infrastructure and smart solutions deployment with 5G applications and 3D Printing technologies. They were funded and guided by North Eastern Council (NEC) and Ministry of DONER.

The Guwahati workshop is part of a nationwide series being conducted by DPE to sensitise CPSEs and build regional capabilities in Industry 4.0 adoption. These workshops are aligned with DPE’s Concept Paper and Adoption Potential Matrix, focusing on contextualising 4IR technologies to the specific operational needs of each sector and geography.
Through this initiative, DPE seeks to facilitate a forward-looking digital roadmap for CPSEs and drive India’s journey toward becoming a global manufacturing and innovation hub. DPE reaffirmed its commitment to supporting CPSEs in harnessing Industry 4.0 technologies to drive operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable development. The Guwahati workshop is part of a broader regional series being conducted across the country, aimed at fostering contextual adoption of 4IR enablers in line with sectoral priorities. These workshops, targeting CPSEs in different zones, are scheduled to conclude by August 2025 and represent a collective step toward building a digitally empowered and globally competitive public sector ecosystem.
